What these websites do is track the ownership of the IPv4 or IPv6 address of the server where the website is hosted.

Once you get the name of the hosting company, you can contact the hosting company’s support to report the abuse of illegal content or extremely illegal website.

IP address and ASN numbers:

IP addresses and ASN numbers are very important when it comes to an osint analysis since it will show very useful information about any website server. Right now we are looking for the name of the hosting company.

With tools like ipinfo.io, IP analyzer or other tools you can get useful information such as the abuse contact email and name of server

With the ipinfo tool, after searching for information on an IPv4 address, what you have to do is look at the first sections of the result. with name “company” and “abuse contact”.

The example in the screenshot is of the IPv4 address with the number 192.1.1.1, when you do the analysis new information will appear based on the IP that you analyzed.
